How I Stay Motivated to Code While Managing Studies

Let’s be honest — staying motivated to code while juggling classes and life isn’t easy. There were weeks I didn’t even want to open my laptop. But I learned a few tricks to keep going.
First, I started breaking my tasks into smaller, doable chunks. Instead of 'build the whole project,' I would write down 'set up folder structure' or 'fetch data from API.' This made it feel less overwhelming.
I also surrounded myself with community — Discord groups, dev Twitter, and even friends I could talk tech with. When you’re part of a circle that shares your passion, you’re less likely to quit.
Finally, I gave myself grace. Not every day has to be 100% productive. Sometimes, the best way to stay motivated is to take a break, reflect, and come back with fresh energy and purpose.
